I am a registered social worker with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through complex and deeply personal challenges, including mental health, addictions, trauma, domestic violence, blended family dynamics, and learning‑related difficulties in children and youth.

My practice is grounded in work across diverse, high‑intensity settings such as Inner‑City Schools in the Downtown Eastside, hospital ER and acute care units, Maternity, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, and Vancouver Aboriginal Family Services Society. For the past five years, I have provided care in Inpatient Psychiatry, helping individuals in crisis and their families find stability, safety, and hope.

I also bring rich lived experience to my work. As a first‑generation immigrant and former refugee, I understand the challenges of cultural adjustment, identity, and resilience. My personal experience within a blended family, along with parenting neurodivergent children, deepens my empathy for those navigating complex family systems, neurodiversity, and the emotional realities that come with them. These perspectives shape a practice rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person’s story.
